Services (Labor):
All services performed by FreeTek on a specific unit (unit refers to a PC, laptop or other device services by our technicians)
are warranted for a period of 30 days after the original date of service. Any labor performed on the unit within the 30 day
warranty period will be free of charge. After the 30 day warranty period, additional labor will be charged (at the current single
charge rate). The only exception is if a defective part is replaced which was originally installed by FreeTek. Labor charges in
these cases will be waived within a period of 1 year after the original installation date.
Parts and Accessories (New):
Computer or HDTV Parts and Accessories: These items may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase
date. Defective merchandise may be exchanged for a period of 30 days after the purchase date. After 30 days the manufacturers
warranty comes into effect at which time it becomes the responsibility of the original purchaser.
Batteries: Batteries may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase, provided the package has not been
opened. Opened packages cannot be returned unless product is defective.
Custom cut cables: All custom cut cables are non-returnable unless defective. Exchanges only on these items.
Used Parts:
Used Computer Parts and Accessories: All used parts purchased from FreeTek will be fully warranted for a period of 30 days
from the date of purchase. Returns and/or exchanges (if a replacement is available) wil be permitted within the 30 day warranty
period. These items may also be returned for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date.
Used Video and PC Games: Used video and PC games may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date
(provided the disc has not been damaged). All game discs are fully repaired and cleaned prior to going on sale. Returns or
exchanges will not be accepted after 14 days.
