The FreeTek Computer and Technology Center opened it’s doors on December 15th, 2007. FreeTek is a division
of Daidalus Software Group, Inc. Both companies are located in Mattawan, Michigan, which is about 18 miles east of
Lake Michigan in the southwest section of the state.
FreeTek was created to meet the needs of people living in the rural and suburban areas around west Van Buren and east
Kalamazoo counties. Realizing the need for computer services in this area, we have designed the FreeTek storefront
to meet the diverse needs for PC and laptop servicing and hardware in this area.
Not only does our convenient location differ us from our competitors in Kalamazoo and Portage, but also our prices. The
maximum labor charge for any type of computer we service is $39.95, and in addition, there is no charge to diagnose
the problem. One of our technicians is always ready to assist you in repairing you PC, or obtaining a new one. Although
we do not sell laptops, we have on more than one occasion assisted customers in the selection of laptop or PC’s
from other stores.
Our primary goal is to provide the community with a source for computer and technology information, while also providing
a source for many PC and laptop peripherals and accessories which you just can’t find in this area without driving all the
way to Kalamazoo or Portage. Our goal will always be to keep our prices down while maintaining the highest standards of
customer service and support.
