Daidalus Software Group, Inc. is a small but quickly growing high-tech software company in the Village of
Mattawan, Michigan, which is about 18 miles east of Lake Michigan in the southwest section of the state.
In November of 2006 I founded Daidalus Software Group, and built the company on the single concept of a virtual
neural network programming architecture, a unique and dynamic method of storing and interpreting information, which
I originally devised after 15 years of research and experience in software design and data storage.
The Daidalus name comes from Greek mythology, as does Icarus who was the son of Daedalus, a brilliant inventor.
Notice that the Daidalus name is a phonetic variation of the original ‘Daedalus’, with the letters ‘ai’ signifying ‘artificial
intelligence’. If you look at the Daidalus logo as well, you can see that it forms the shape of an ‘ai’ as well.
The Icarus software product is essentially a rapid software development platform. The software is unique in the sense
that the marketed applications are instructed by an expert in the subject matter - as opposed to traditionally developed
software which is written by a programmer with less knowledge and experience in the subject.
For example, an Elementary School teacher will instruct the Icarus Educational Edition package, which performs as an
artificially intelligent teacher’s aid, shaping itself to each of the students individual needs the same way a human teacher
would. To learn more about Icarus technology and it’s capabilities, please browse through our corporate web site
